Hadamard and Conference Matrices

چکیده
We discuss new constructions of Hadamard and conference matrices using relative difference sets. We present the first example of a relative (n, 2, n − 1, n−2 2 )-difference set where n − 1 is not a prime power.

Self-dual Z4 codes of Type IV generated by skew-Hadamard matrices and conference matrices
In this paper, we give families of self-dual Z4-codes of Type IV-I and Type IV-II generated by conference matrices and skew-Hadamard matrices. Furthermore, we give a family of self-dual Z4-codes of Type IV-I generated by bordered skew-Hadamard matrices.
متن کاملNew Hadamard matrices and conference matrices obtained via Mathon's construction
We give a formulation, via (1, 1) matrices, of Mathon's construction for conference matrices and derive a new family of conference matrices of order 5·92r+1 + 1, t ≥ 0. This family produces a new conference matrix of order 3646 and a new Hadamard matrix of order 7292. In addition we construct new families of Hadamard matrices of orders 6.92r+1+ 2, 10.92t+1 + 2, 8·49·92, t ≥ 0; q2(q + 3) + 2 whe...
متن کاملComplex Hadamard Matrices from Sylvester Inverse Orthogonal Matrices
A novel method to obtain parameterizations of complex inverse orthogonal matrices is provided. These matrices are natural generalizations of complex Hadamard matrices which depend on non zero complex parameters. The method we use is via doubling the size of inverse complex conference matrices. When the free parameters take values on the unit circle the inverse orthogonal matrices transform into...
متن کاملHadamard Matrices of Order 28m, 36m and 44m
We show that if four suitable matrices of order m exist then there are Hadamard matrices of order 28 m, 36 m, and 44 m. In particular we show that Hadamard matrices of orders 14(q + 1), 18(q + 1), and 22(q + 1) exist when q is a prime power and q = l(mod 4). Also we show that if n is the order of a conference matrix there is an Hadamard matrix of order 4mn. As a consequence there are Hadamard m...

The concept of semi-regular sets of matrices was introduced by J. Seberry in "A new construction for Williamson-type matrices", Graphs and Combinatorics, 2(1986), 81-87. A regular s-set of matrices of order m was first discovered by J. Seberry and A. L. Whiteman in "New Hadamard matrices and conference matrices obtained via Mathon's construction", Graphs and Combinatorics, 4(1988), 355-377. In ...
